AYURVEDA Ayurveda is a highly systematized body of knowledge based on sound foundational principles, and it has a very logical as well as rational thinking process. Most importantly, it is a time-tested knowledge system, in that it has successfully treated people having varied disease conditions through the centuries. It is the root of most ancient philosophies and alternative medicines such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Martial Arts and Yoga, and the original source of many modern natural healing therapies. A holistic health care system Ayurveda's major premise involves the symbiosis of mind, body and spirit. Any imbalance in this synthesis results in physical ailments. To maintain this harmony, Ayurveda believes in the treatment of not just the affected part, but the individual as a whole. Basic concepts Crisis management is never a solution; it is a stop gap arrangement. Planned management leading to a situation where a crisis hardly occurs is what Ayurveda endorses. And thus temporary cures are rarely advocated. Ayurveda always attempts to understand the root cause of the problem and to remove that cause without creating other problems or side effects. Thus the Ayurveda physician endeavours to create an internal body environment, which is not conducive to the continuance of the disease process. Pancha Karma Pancha Karma (Panchakarma) removes toxins that have accumulated in the body. These toxins are often buried deep inside the tissues of the body where Ayurveda teaches they interfere with normal body functioning. These toxins, called “ama” weaken the body, making the body more susceptible to disease and making it more difficult for the body to heal itself. Pancha Karma (Panchakarma) is a process which when applied properly, helps you to make a giant leap forward in your health and well-being. The first phase of your Pancha Karma program is called the Preparation Phase or Purva Karma . This phase begins about one week before you come to our clinic. During this phase of your care, you will follow a special food program and take special herbs. Rejuvenation Therapy Rejuvenation is the process of building up your internal strength and your ability to withstand stress. This is the ideal program for those who feel weak, are experiencing chronic disease or are exhausted or debilitated. This Healing Experience lasts between 3-10 days and includes therapies that are both deeply relaxing and deeply nourishing. Bliss Therapy

Shirodhara, and Swedana that takes the mind, body, and spirit on an inner

and purifying the body/mind, Ayurvedic Bliss Therapy encourages a deep
remembering of well-being and peace that supports the healing process and
connection to Spirit. Any or all elements of Bliss Therapy can be done
